tiny justin head

So sometimes we like to play with the photo booth on our computer. This is my favorite effect, called light tunnel. We did it with sophie's face too but it didn't look as cool.

No new info for us... waiting for our tax return, which is good since we are planning on meeting with a contractor soon for our kitchen!! We want to have phase one done by the time justin's family comes out in early july. Phase one includes moving all appliances except the stove, getting all new appliances, and putting the water heater in the crawl space (and either getting a new tankless one, or a short and fat one). Oh, and knocking out half a wall to open up the kitchen to the dining room and create a breakfast bar. We are both so excited to get it started!!!

Justin is done with bball, which is nice because he will have a lot more time on his hands now. Mary's masters class is going ok this semseter, the class is not the greatest, but the books are awesome (Marzano's assessment book, and Gottlieb's assessment for ELLs if you are a teacher friend). Mary is excited for Costa Rica, she purchased her tickets about a week ago, so it is official! The dates are june 12-27. She will spend one week near san juan and one week right on the pacific ocean.

Conferences are done with for this school year, and mary's team saw a ton of kids (as always). They met with 84 sets of parents in total. She only had to translate for four or five this time, which is nice because translating can be draining. The dogs survived the long days, they are tough.

I think that is all... we will probably post more pictures after justin's skiing extraveganza with tim and krista tomorrow. Mary is going to stay home and read for her masters class (and drink lots of this new tea called Might Tea - try the chamomile citrus, it is the best!).
