Colorado last day

Short trip! 

Toddler-friendly coffee house in Boulder. They had a cool play area in the back! Too bad it snowed the night before... 

We then went browsing on Pearl St. This is a NIP pic in a psychedelic room with black lights and velvet posters. Totally normal for Colorado.

Colorado part 2

Erica's first day of work! Violet's first day of school!

Hazy and I visited our old house. Looks sad :/ 

We spent the morning visiting with some work friends. Didn't get pics (arg!) but I did drive by my old school. Kind of emotional. 

Visited with old teammates and a yummy authentic Mexican restaurant

Visited with Aunt Jen at my FAV coffee house, St. Mark's. 

First time meeting Aunt Jen!

I got to pick V up from her first day at school! Go me! She ran right to me and asked "mama mama mama"

Family dinner! Greek food yummmmm. Joey and Steph took a packing break to have dinner with us in Ft. Colins. Thanks SO much, so happy you could meet Hazel!

Normal. 

To spend more time together, we went to Trader Joe's and walked around. Hazel was happy to go the TJ for the first time :) 

Hazel didn't understand the time change. I tried to explain it to her, but she still liked to sit straight up in bed at 5am (thinking it was 7) 

Colorado part 1

Hazel and I took a last minute trip to Colorado for spring break! Cheap flights and hanging out with family and friends makes for a good spring break :)

Hazel was such a good traveler- on the 4-hour drive down and on the plane itself.

Up early to see the sunrise in Erica's backyard. 

First stop: Snooze!

PB choc pancake, cinnamon roll pancake, and a cute baby. Not pictured: blueberry streusel pancake. 

Flat irons! 

Erica and I both lactated in the lactating room at Whole Foods. 

Ergo sisters! 

We went to some fancy boutique kids stores (no sale racks, but we did find a store closing sale! Wahoo!) 

Back home for nap time.

Fate Brewery for dinner and beer. Violet loves Hazel :). Very little jealousy this time!! 

That was only day 1! Whew!

Sleeps in her crib at night and bassinet during the day, but loves to be held for naps (nap time gymnastics here)

She's a little chubby. Size 12 month clothes- 90th %ile- never had one drop of anything but breast milk (except that time Grey put a smarties candy in her mouth... But that's another story...) 

 

Car seat story

Grey likes to put his face in the car seat and said "hihihihi" to Hazel while very close to her face. We used to try and stop him, but now Hazel tries to nurse on his nose, so I figure she's ok with it.
