More House Updates! (front yard)

As promised from last post, we have finally completed our new front patio! As you will see in the pics, we had thorny bushes covering our window, and some ground covering (vines), and replaced that with a brick paver patio. Unfortunately, I forgot to take pics of all the steps for completing the patio, so you will see it before, right before the bricks are laid, and then completed. Yesterday we put out our table and chairs from our old apt. It will be so nice to enjoy our front yard now! In addition to adding the patio, we also painted the concrete slab by our front door to match the house, as well as some updates to our garden beds. Enjoy! Thanks for checking in!

Everything dug up (the roots to the bushes were everywhere!) The base is laid, and ready for sand.

Had to rent a paver saw for a day to cut all the random edge pieces (no pics). After they were laid, and tamped, a layer of sand was brushed on top to fill all the gaps.
