Last Sunday we celebrated Greyson's Baptism at Christ the King church! We were so happy to have family fly in for this special event. Mom and Dad Christensen, Mom Cooper, and Becky all flew in. We decided to make Erica and Joe Grey's godparents! It was a great Sunday, we had Mom's 5 mile race up in Boulder in the morning, then we all got ready for his baptism at 4pm. There were around 17 of us total at the ceremony that was just for Grey. The church told us they don't usually perform baptisms during lent, but Mary being Mary negotiated to have them still do it, on a Palm Sunday nonetheless. Father Daniel wasn't available, but Deacon Brian was. You could tell he hadn't performed very many Baptisms, but he did a great job. The church was beautiful and light was coming in from all of the stained glass. We are very lucky to have such wonderful family and friends surround us on such a special day for our son. To those who couldn't make it, you were missed and we still thought of you! Here are some pics and vids of the day!
Grey looked like the biggest baby ever to be baptized...oops

I was surprised they allowed a baptism during Lent. Mary must have some magic to arrange that! We had to wait until after Easter for our wedding. And Easter was late that year.
Looks like a wonderful time and beautiful family!
Mary can be very persuasive! It was a very nice ceremony, we were glad to have family out!
