Downstate happenings

Eden came back to visit! We only got to spend one night with her before we left.

This weekend, we headed downstate to visit Tim, Krista, and Quinn visiting from CO, and the Midland MacDonalds. Here's our adventures!

Gg is getting good at car trips.

Guess where we are!

Gg was a little t. And it was Bronners. Four days before Christmas. Needless to say we didn't stay too long.

He liked the gnomes just like his cousin Megan.

Baby Quinn!!

We spent the night at the Snoblen dairy farm. We even got to see the cows being milked! I asked Krista's brother if the cows were happy when they weren't getting milked. He didn't know how to answer me.

Lots of people and dogs.

Gg loved the baby cow area!! The brown one was his favorite.

Dogs and cows.

Gg really loved Quinn. Lots of open-mouthed kisses. I think Quinn thought it was time to nurse.

I liked Quinn too.

"Baby Twin likes petting hair, Mama!"

"Please hold baby Twin, Mama!"

More kisses.

Justin still has it.

Overnight, we got a huge ice storm! All night, we heard the popping of branches falling from the weight of the ice. We woke up to no power.

The cars were covered in ice. We thought Chris would like this pic.

Krista's dad brought up the tractor. Gg was in heaven!

We stopped in Midland for a night and had a great visit with Gma MacDonald (who Grey calls "Mac"), and the Midland MacDonalds. What a fun night of fancy Oregon cheeses, wine, and making fun of Aunt Julie ;)

Mac made her famous red velvet cake, just for Justin! The red velvet cake is somewhat of a joke in the family, since Mac will only make it when Justin comes to visit. He's so spoiled!

Mac has the best toys! Grey was such a good boy.

Mac also has the best wrapping paper.

We drove home to a winter wonderland.
