Greyson is in cloth diapers!We inherited twelve Fuzzi Bunz and inserts from a friend at work, and we have been trying them out this weekend. So far, we are really liking them, but we will see how we feel after washing them. They are pretty cool - kind of what we were wanting from the beginning, something that is earth-friendly but easy to use and won't leak. These have a cool snap system that you can see above, and they have a fleece inside that wicks away the wet feeling with a hemp insert that absorbs all the liquid stuff. I think this will work out perfectly too because we were wanting some sort of cloth system, but didn't want to spend lots on something before we knew it would work for us. So, this lets us try this out before putting lots of money into it! (We looked online, the set of twelve with inserts retails about $300). If we like it, they make Fuzzi Bunz that are adjustable one size fits all, which Grey could use up until he is out of diapers, which would be pretty awesome. Right now we just have size small, which will fit him for a long time, but not forever. We will keep you posted on how we like them!
In other Grey news, he went 10.5 hours between feedings on Saturday night! And we were so tired that we didn't even wake up in a panic! (But I was in quite a bit of pain when I woke up... but it was worth it to sleep 8 hours straight!!)

I like Greyson's new diapers! Good for you guys for being environmentally friendly! We thought about doing cloth diapers too but then never got organized enough to do it. I love his legwarmers!!
they look bulkier, is it harder to fit them under his clothes? of course this is a small price to pay for a better product!!
Those wraps are WAY nicer than anything Gemma has!! Cloth is more "work" but it's a good, rewarding work to wash and care for cloth diapers. Been doing it for 15 months straight now... :o) You should put in a clothesline to air-dry!!! (that's on my to-do list too)
Thanks guys! He does have a big bootie in them, and some clothes don't fit with them on (time to break out the 3-6 mo clothes!). And we did put them on the line once, but we only have enough right now for one day's worth, so we have to wash them at night. But I bet we will figure out a system to hang them in the morning when we are home in the summer.
