3 months old!

Happy 3 month birthday, Hazel Lynne!

This is one of my favorite ages. Hazel is interactive and smiley, but stays put when you lay her down, doesn't roll over or crawl, is easy to put into a sling, is easy to distract, and doesn't talk back or refuse to eat dinner :).
Hazel really is an easy-going baby. She is generally happy, and is just content watching GG run around and play. She is still sleeping through the night (knock on wood! She's had a fussy day today).
Her nursing is just about normal!!! I still have pain from time to time, but she is now to the point of latching by herself without me having to do 32 things to get her to latch properly (tickle the bottom lip, pull the bottom lip down, flare out top and bottom lip, pull body down, tilt head up, support head and push in, and the list goes on...). I am so happy that we pushed through the hard times, because I just cherish our nursing sessions now. Particuarly when I just get home from work. It's our time to bond, just the two of us. She will now hold my finger and look at me while we nurse. It's so special.
Other things: Hazel is a good traveler, sleeping through most of our downstate trips so far, Hazel likes binkies now, she likes to wear leg warmers (or I like to put them on her...), she still likes to stare at lights, and she has added dogs to things she likes to stare at. She still sleeps with a swaddle, and it still doing well with the bottle (although she refused her afternoon bottle for the first time today...)

Enjoy these pics!

Mama's face on a baby...?

She has also found her hands recently! Sucking on fingers is a new favorite activity.

Grey really loves Hazel. Here, he was laying in bed with her saying, "there's my baby girl Hazel! What are you doing, baby Hazy? There's my baby girl!" Just melts my heart.

Getting stronger!

"Did you see this dog? You can see his eyes really well!"

Almost asleep...
